Rome Guide – Who and Why

So here we are, with this great tool called Blog, writing about the city we love.
We are Roberto and Francesca, a couple from Rome: the capital of Italy, the capital of Roman Empire, eternal city, cradle of art. In many ways Rome has been described over the years, over two and half thousands years of history, and it couldn’t have been otherwise.

We created this Rome guide blog because we just wanted to describe Rome in our own way: the places we explored, the streets we have walked along, the haunts we enjoyed.

We hoped this would also be a good starting point for all those millions of tourists that every year, in every season, come from all over the world to visit this fantastic city.

Our easy Rome guide may lead you through the experience of living in Rome, visiting its major districts and taking part in the major events in Rome, like fairs, concerts and plays for theatrical performaces that every year enliven the atmosphere of the city.
You will also find information about the main monuments, religious buildings and fountains in Rome. Finally, we have thought it useful to add some tips about how to book an apartment or an hotel in Rome.

What else? We fancy writing in this blog, hope you fancy read it as well, and please comment whenever you feel like.

See you soon in Rome!
