The event will be held in Italy from the 25^th of September to the 10^th of October, in 10 different cities: Milan, Verona. Modena, Reggio Calabria, Torino, Trieste, Catania, Ancona, Florence and Rome.

In particular, Rome will host the semi final and final matches on the 9^th and 10^th of October in the Palalottomatica arena, which has a seating capacity of 11200 spectators.

In an interwiev Francesco Ghirelli, chief exectuive officer of the organizing committe, Carlo Magri, president of the Italian volleybal federation and Carlo Salvatori, president of the organizing committee, pointed out the importance of this event, which confirms Italy a major country in the organization of sport events.
